Save the date for April 15 at The Museum of Osteology for a book signing and reading from authors Lynn Thomas and Amy M. Le. The new novel, The Copper Phoenix, is based on true events of the co-author's (Lynn Thomas) life of growing up in an abusive and extremely dysfunction household, surviving multiple sexual assaults. This incredible story has many layers of complexity and will no doubt move you to the resiliency of one incredible woman.
The book reading will be streamed via Facebook Live on the Quill Hawk Publishing page and will not cover mature themes of addiction, abuse, or assaults. Instead, it will give insight into the power of healing and how one person can make a difference in another's mental health.
Proceeds from the sale of The Copper Phoenix will support The Care Center, Oklahoma County's child advocacy center dedicated to ending child abuse.
There will be other books available for purchase through Quill Hawk Publishing by award-winning author, Amy M. Le.
