Ban Nguyen

Ban Nguyen’s heritage is rooted in Vietnam. He is a 1.5-generation Vietnamese American who came to the US at the age of thirteen in 1975 with his family after the fall of Saigon. They resettled at a refugee relocation center in Arkansas before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Nguyen went to high school and found work as a busboy and waiter in the restaurant industry.

In 2008, Nguyen’s father-in-law put him in charge of franchising Jimmy's Egg restaurant. As of 2025, there are over 60 locations nationwide and growing.
