Christina Shifflett has had a lifelong love of learning about herbal medicines and how they can be used daily to stay healthy. As an adult, she gained her nursing license in 2013 and her Master’s in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics in 2022. As a registered nurse with a cannabis specialty, Christina has extensive knowledge and experience in the medicinal use of cannabis. Christina’s passion for helping patients access the benefits of cannabis as a therapeutic tool has led to writing this book to help people who have never been to a dispensary have a basis of knowledge before going. Christina lives in NW Oklahoma with her teenage daughter, her boyfriend, and their weirdo dog, Princess Leia. When Christina isn’t writing, she enjoys spending time with her little family, trying to keep her food garden alive in the Oklahoma heat, and she loves making herbal salves to support her family’s health.
