Heather Freligh is a young author, student-athlete, sudden cardiac arrest survivor, and nationally recognized youth heart advocate dedicated to helping others through education, service, and storytelling. At just 13 years old, Heather survived sudden cardiac arrest at school thanks to immediate CPR and emergency response—an experience that inspired her mission to promote CPR awareness, AED readiness, and youth empowerment.

Her advocacy has reached schools, lawmakers, and heart-health organizations, including efforts supporting California's Heather Freligh Act. Heather serves in youth leadership roles with the City of Tracy and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals and collaborates with organizations committed to saving lives. She is Miss San Joaquin County Teen, a Top 10 finalist at Miss California Teen, a 2026 Make-A-Wish recipient, and attended the Harvard University Secondary School Program. An accomplished artist, Heather donates proceeds from her original paintings to nonprofits supporting children and heart health.
