Jenn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), educator, and advocate for children whose stories are too often misunderstood. She is passionate about helping children develop the skills they need to thrive as students and individuals. Through her work in schools, she has dedicated her career to supporting students whose challenges are often misunderstood, advocating for approaches rooted in compassion, dignity, and meaningful connection.

Inspired by her experiences working alongside students, educators, and families, Jennifer wrote this book to foster greater awareness, acceptance, patience, and empathy for children who struggle in ways that are not always visible. She believes that the conversations surrounding these students can be uncomfortable, but they are also some of the most important conversations educators and communities can have.
