Hi! My name is Kat, short for Katherine. I was born and raised in Oklahoma and have resided in Shawnee for the past 22 years. I am married and live at home with my two beautiful children, my youngest boy having autism. We have four pythons, two tarantulas, and my sphynx cat, Paige. I have been an LPN for almost 9 years, and I love to dabble in baking wedding and custom birthday cakes, carpentry, painting, and cleaning/reorganizing my home. My love for writing began at the age of 7. I still have all of my journals from my childhood, where my main dream in life was to be a writer. It wasn't until a couple of months ago that the right time came for me, actually, to let my creativity flow, and now all I want to do is write. I am 37 years old, and I can say this is the happiest I have ever been in my life, as I finally feel like I have found myself.
The Hollow is a dark psychological horror novella blending supernatural evil, generational trauma, and madness.
In the dense woods of rural Texas stands a cabin where generations of the Robinson family have lived—and died. When Ryan Robinson, a respected teacher with a hidden obsession, inherits the property, the darkness inside him awakens something ancient buried beneath the soil. After Ryan’s gruesome death and the disappearance of his wife, his mother, Grace, returns to the cabin searching for answers. What she uncovers instead is a trail of handwritten journals, animal bones, and a monstrous truth clawing its way out from The Hollow.
Now, Grace must face the sins of her son, the madness of her mother-in-law, and the evil that will not rest until it consumes them all. The Hollow is a chilling descent into inherited evil and the terrifying price of secrets left buried.
