"This book was a one night read because I fell completely in love with it. Landon had my heart from the beginning with the relationship with his father. I really enjoyed their realistic dynamic that in many ways mirrored my own, growing up. Especially toward the end. Further more, Landon is flawed. He is led by his emotions, by his confusion, makes choices based on his heart, and sometimes they are terrible. But they are real and I, and probably most, will relate. Landons friends are a mixed bag and I spent time alternating from loving and hating them, because like Landon, they are flawed and real and are led by their emotions as well. I loved being part of their lives. Even for only one evening. And then there is Mystery Boy. How could one not fall for Mystery Boy. I spent so much time rooting for them, delving into their courting ,discovering their pasts, and hoping for a future. Land on me really brings out that magical feeling of youth, angst, and first love. It also packs a doozy of an ending that I did not see coming. At the end, all I wanted was more. More Landon, more mystery boy, more of this world. There is a teaser at the end that showed me that more is coming. And I could not be happier."
