Uyên Hoàng Beach was born in Biên Hòa, Vietnam. She immigrated to the United States via helicopter in April 1975 at the age of two with her parents and infant sister. Her Dad, Tuấn, was the helicopter pilot. Uyen graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Zoology and Nursing. She has worked in the medical industry for 22 years, with the last five years as the Director of Nursing at a Memory Care facility. Having grown up in Amarillo, Texas, Uyen is a southern girl and considers Texas her home. Her life revolves around her husband, Chris, and their children, Alanna and Gabe. Their dog, Leo, is the baby of the family, and a fierce defender of the Beach backyard.
